JOB SUMMARY
The Facilities Project
Manager will oversee Seadrill’s headquarters relocation project from
beginning to end, including workplace strategy, planning & schedule, construction
management, and move-in. This role involves collaboration with Seadrill
executives to define scope and requirements and to work with functional
leaders to define and manage expectations throughout the project. The PM is
accountable for managing subcontractor relationships and execution of negotiated contracts to achieve
cost-effective solutions.
JOB SPECIFIC
RESPONSIBILITIES
Headquarters Relocation Project:
- Manage theheadquarters relocation project, including workplace strategy,
development of the project schedule, construction, and move-in.
- Develop and execute a comprehensive project plan, ensuring
completion of the project on schedule and within-budget.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholder and external subcontractors
to ensure seamless relocation while minimising disruption to
operations.
Subcontractor Management:
- Develop project scope, budgets and timelines
- Work with internal stakeholders to obtain competitive
pricing from subcontractors
- Work with internal stakeholders to negotiate all
construction contracts
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with Subcontractors
and service providers.
- Evaluate subcontractor performance and ensure compliance
with contractual obligations including scope, schedule and budget.
- Conduct monthly meetings with subcontractors to review
project progress, schedule, quality of work including milestone based
inspections of completed work to to ensure work is progressing
according to schedule and budget..
Contract Management:
- Work with internal stakeholders to negotiate and manage operating
contracts for facilities services, including maintenance, security,
cleaning, and other related services.
- Ensure all contracts are current, compliant with company
policies, and aligned with business needs.
- Monitor contract performance and address any issues or
discrepancies promptly.
Budget Management:
- Develop and manage the operational facilities budget,
ensuring cost control and efficient use of resources.
- Identify opportunities for ongoing cost savings and
operational improvements.
Compliance and Safety:
- Ensure that all construction and operational permitting is
obtained as per local, state, and federal requirements.
- Ensure the headquarters facility complies with local,
state, and federal regulations.
- Implement and maintain safety protocols and emergency
response plans.

Essential
- Proven experience managing large-scale office relocation projects.
- Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
- Proficiency in facilities management software and tools.

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in facilities management, with a focus on vendor and contract management.
Preferred
- Has
completed a headquarters relocation project for a Fortune 500 company.
- PMP
