Seadrill Management Ltd has an exciting opportunity to join the global HR team as the HR Manager for Corporate, with overall responsibility for managing the day-to-day HR service to the global head office and shared services populations (approx. 250 in total), both based in the UK. Supported by two HR Advisors, you’ll be an integral member of the global HR function, leading and contributing to HR projects and initiatives across the world. You will also act as HR Business Partner to senior managers in London, including direct reports of the Executive team.
The ideal candidate will be knowledgeable and passionate about HR, quality people management and enjoy the challenge of bringing this to life in an organisation undergoing change, where HR practices are ripe for development. You will bring with you a good understanding of HR operations practices from across the employee lifecycle, including recruitment, appraisal and engagement, and be used to implementing HR initiatives using a range of tools to support line managers with their teams.
Your experience in HR business partnering at all levels will be complemented by some knowledge in basic UK employment law and you will be used to working with a range of HR disciplines, supported by Centres of Excellence. You’ll have a proactive, collaborative approach, be confident in tackling problems head-on and comfortable operating in ambiguity. Some supervisory or line management experience is also required.
To hit the ground running, you’ll either be an experienced HR supervisor/team leader looking for a step-up into a management role, or an HR Manager in the UK looking to broaden their experience in a global business.
