Seadrill HR is on a journey to deliver data driven insight about people to the business. As HR Data Quality and Insight Lead, you will drive the function’s data quality which is a fundamental underpinning of that journey. Your work on data quality will also support automation and effectiveness in the HR department as a whole. In close collaboration with the People Analytics Manager, you will progress to take on additional responsibilities for HR reporting.
This role will:
Be responsible for improving data quality and embedding standard improvement processes on the front line. This will involve using influencing skills in order to coach front line HR staff to improve data quality at source.
Deliver front-line continuous improvement data quality programmes, ensuring that the agreed milestones and targets are delivered, and the programme achieves its agreed objectives in terms of efficiency and improved methodology.
Drive regular reports to the business and stakeholders on data quality issues including business’s progress towards future targets
Deploy formal data quality processes, quality rules, metrics, models, data maintenance plans and standards
Produce high-quality technical documentation
Developing a global data dictionary
Require strong problem solving and analytical skills with the ability to communicate technical concepts to all business users
Evolve to take responsibility for all HR reporting and metrics
Support the HRIS team in their daily activities and troubleshoot challenges with our Core HR systems.
1.4 Skills and Experience
The ideal candidate will possess the following:
- Systems and Software. Data Warehousing, Data modelling. Oracle, Azure or similar
- Design and Collection of Data / Information
- Data analysis
- Developing processes & procedures
- Knowledge of industry best practice about data quality and cleansing
Experience of data mapping, reconfiguration and manipulation to ensure good, accurate and clear data is available across systems and at the right times by all users
Experience of working with large data sets, including identification and correction of inconsistencies.
- Understanding of HR processes and Employee lifecycle
- Experience with ERP systems, preferable in an HR environment
- Building, maintaining and evolving BI reporting in PowerBI, Tableau or similar
- Commercial acumen

1.5 Education, Training & Qualifications
This role requires:
Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 3-5 years’ experience within the areas described.
