Job Title:         Materials Management Supervisor

Location:         Houston, TX (various unanticipated locations throughout the US; may work from home; requires annual travel 25% both onshore and offshore locations locally and internationally)

Duties:

Manage and implement effective drive supply chain strategies for material management globally and for rig inventories and fleet spares, both onshore and offshore; oversee and develop the diverse group of supply chain professionals both onshore and offshore that monitor and support the integrity of the company's material management systems; implement effective supply chain strategies and tactics in line with budget guidelines to support materials management activities; analyze and report on the effectiveness of rig inventories and fleet spares; ensure that Supply Chain processes and procedures are properly documented and published; ensure team and individual goals and objectives are clearly defined and support the overall supply chain and corporate strategic initiatives as they relate to materials management; serve as primary point of contact for both internal and external audits; collaborate with third party consultants to prepare monthly and annual property tax reports; collaborate with the business division in order to ensure the most cost effective and technically correct solution is chosen in order to maintain quality of parts, equipment, or services and to improve delivery where possible; provide ongoing cost reduction and process improvement to the business without jeopardizing quality; responsible for the development and generation of defined materials management KPI's in line with corporate guidelines; mentor colleagues with problem resolution and guidance as required; ensure change of management processes are effectively executed when required.

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a closely related field and three (3) years of experience in the job offered or three (3) years of experience in a related occupation working in the offshore industry and applying knowledge of offshore drilling equipment; utilizing experience in movement of materials, material handling, or logistics; experience in supply chain and materials management; or conducting cycle count reconciliation or inventory auditing.
