JOB SUMMARY

Supporting the Talent Centre of Excellence on our journey to improve our talent acquisition processes to create great experiences for candidate and hiring managers.

The role is responsible for managing end-to-end recruitment campaigns for global onshore functions by working in close collaboration with hiring managers and HR Business Partners across different areas of our business, in locations across the world. A versatile and innovative approach to different types sourcing and attraction will be key to success to successfully recruit from entry level roles up to more complex experienced hire vacancies.

The role partners with hiring managers and HRBP’s to support the successful delivery of all recruitment campaigns, being the subject matter expert and supporting them at every stage of the process from planning to sourcing and selection and supporting the offer management process.

JOB SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Management of the end-to-end recruitment process, partnering with hiring managers and the HRBP’s to attract and hire the best talent into the functions to which you are aligned.
  • Be the subject matter expert on all recruitment matters within the business areas to which you are aligned, advising on all aspects of the process from planning and attraction to sourcing, assessment and selection. 
  • Work closely and consultatively with the wider HR Team (Talent Centre of Excellence, Directors, Business Partners and People Services), providing advice & guidance and regular updates on all recruitment activities and initiatives.
  • Proactive use of direct sourcing methods to increase candidate engagement whilst developing talent pools and pipelines for business-critical vacancies and future requirements in business areas with typically high volumes of recruitment.
  • Manage relationships with recruitment agencies and external stakeholders, regularly monitoring service levels and ensuring business processes and terms of business are adhered to.
  • Accurately maintain the document management system and ATS.
  • Provide a first-class candidate and client experience throughout the recruitment process.
  • Continually working to identify opportunities to improve processes and systems, ensuring all recruitment processes are effective, efficient and fit for purpose.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

Essential

  • You have full 360 recruitment experience in an in-house recruitment capacity (leading hiring manager briefings, sourcing & shortlisting, screening, interviewing and assessments and supporting offer management process)
  • You have deep understanding of, and experience in, delivering successful direct sourcing strategies (direct search, cv databases, social media (LinkedIn Recruiter in particular), talent pools and talent pipelining.
  • You can advise on suitable methods of assessment, ensuring methods used are relevant, engaging and inclusive, whilst effectively identifying the best possible talent for Seadrill.
  • You have experience of using an ATS and coaching stakeholders to use the system to its full potential.
  • You are experienced in maintaining and reporting on key metrics and data to stakeholders at all levels
  • You have the ability to think critically and are comfortable to challenge the status quo, always striving to identify and recommend process improvements to ensure the best possible stakeholder experience and quality of hire.
  • You are naturally inquisitive, keeping up to date with key market data and trends and applying these to how we work at Seadrill where relevant.
  • You have a consultative approach, with the ability to build trust and develop excellent working relationships at all levels, both internally with hiring managers and HR colleagues, and externally with agency partners, assessment providers and local universities.
  • You have excellent communication skills, both internally with hiring managers and HR colleagues, as well as candidates, in different industries and locations.
  • You can multi-task and work at pace, working to tight deadlines in a fast paced, often ambiguous environment.
  • You have a flexible approach to work and respond positively to change and ambiguity.
