JOB SUMMARY
We are
seeking a highly skilled Enterprise Risk Manager to join our team. The Enterprise
Risk Manager will be responsible for identifying, assessing, and mitigating
risks across the organization to ensure the achievement of strategic
objectives while maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements. This
role will involve collaborating with various departments and stakeholders
to develop and implement effective risk management strategies.
JOB SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of the organization's
risk profile, including operational, financial, strategic, and
compliance risks.
- Identify and assess potential risks and opportunities that
may impact the achievement of business objectives.
- Develop risk management policies, procedures, and protocols
to mitigate identified risks effectively.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to establish risk
tolerance levels and implement risk mitigation strategies.
- Conduct regular risk assessments and audits to monitor the
effectiveness of risk management processes and controls.
- Provide guidance and support to business units in identifying
and addressing risk-related issues.
- Monitor industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging
risks to ensure the organization remains proactive in managing risks.
- Prepare reports and presentations for senior management and
board members on the organization's risk profile, mitigation
strategies, and compliance status.
- Lead risk management training sessions and workshops to
enhance risk awareness and capabilities across the organization.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on risk management best
practices and provide guidance on risk-related matters to
stakeholders.
- Manage the performance of any third-party external auditors.
- Identify relevant risk management related applications and training needs.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND
EXPERIENCE
Essential
- Experienced professional with minimum seven years of proven experience
in enterprise risk management, preferably in a similar industry or
sector.
- Strong understanding of risk management principles,
methodologies, and frameworks (e.g., COSO, ISO 31000).
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to identify,
assess, and prioritize risks effectively.
- Solid understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance
standards relevant to the organization's industry.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the
ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage
multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities with a proactive and
solution-oriented approach to risk management.
- Proficiency in risk management software and tools is a plus.
- Commitment to continuous learning and professional
development in the field of risk management.
- Ability to work under pressure to tight timescales and still be
flexible and thrive on dynamic, changing agendas
Desired
- Cross-functional experience in a Risk Manager capacity at an Offshore Drilling company
- Professional Services / Management Consulting experience
- Membership of key Risk Management Institutes
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Requirements
- Professional Risk Manager Qualified
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, risk management, or a related field.
Desired
- Master’s degree and professional certification (e.g., CRM, CFA, FRM) are preferred.
